For the sake of profit

Using a variety of American 1950's propaganda films, I created this personal commentary on the world's obsession with profit. Creating humorous loops and overlapping various images and sounds from old videos about banking and economics, I attempted to create my own propaganda skewing the original message to fit my own sarcastic outlook. Highlighting the cynicism by placing inappropriate images over words which were meant to reassure audiences of those times, this video attempts to shame the government of those times for successfully selling military and prescription drugs to their people. It's not a perfect video, nor will it change the world. But I think it's cool. Headphones recommendation.
