A Platoon of 50 US soldiers are trying to fight the Taliban by themselves in a vast and isolated mountainous region in the front line in the War on Terror in Afghanistan. And the only way to accomplish the mission is on foot patrol. 10 soldiers explain to the camera their personal view of the insights in the front line of what they define as a ''forgotten war''. A rare report were soldiers talk openly and sincerely about why they joined the Army, the fight against the Taliban, the way to accomplish their mission, their fears, hopes and how being a soldier affects their personal lives. FOOTPATROL is a 34 minutes documentary film project by Raul Gallego Abellan. Raul is working for The Associated Press Television News as a videojournalist

no they are not fake. its pretty much that they dont care because no higher ups give a shit about pretty if u get in the shit alot. there are things that get kinda put to the side when in a 24-7 high stress area. u could go to sleep there and never wake up cause u eat a mortar or rocket
