Your talking a load of cr-p , hunting foxes with a pack of hounds may be baned, but hunting with lurchers is still a go, so long as you have the right of way on the land your hunting. keep up the pest control LADS.

@witchwooddogs how horrible you a part of a small minority that does not respect history and tradition . hunting is not mindless or cowardice, it's something that needs to be respected and revered in case it's needed to feed the masses again . blood thirst is healthy part of democracy. think for yourself and respect other peoples sovereignty so that other will respect yours.

people who think hare coursing is wrong, and cruel, are uneducated. hare coursing is a sport derived from hunting with dogs. this is very humane compared to rabbit hunting, which nearly always results in a dead bunny. in hare coursing, the rabbit is up against a dog, not a gun, therefore it is a fair chase.

What a load of shit, i'm really happy that hunting with dogs is banned now. But this isnt hunting this is staged cruelty to quench the blood thirst of a few mindless cowards.

Everyone is entitled to there own opinion but please in future make correct statements! On ocassions it is staged and people will catch hares and put them in a new surrounding so the dog has the advantage, i believe in true sports man ship in the hares enviorment so the hare has the advantage and either a lame hare will be caught, this keeps the hare population healthy. Hares are not fluffy cute teddies, they are fast, if they were to be shot without at a distance, would you prefer that?

@witchwooddogs Hardly it has to be a shockingly fast dog to catch a hare, or the hare is unhealthy.. of course some people catch them and take them to different areas on occasion but they have rules, dog must be wearing a muzzle and they have escape rout at the end for the hare.. rabbits on the other hand .. they are pests if you want my honest opinion. please say dogs shred rabbits hares to pieces some do others will retrieve the hare or rabbit to owner and then it will be killed quickly.
