This video is a tribute to the creator of "Rent", Jonathan Larson.
The song is "Will I (dignity)" and all photos are found on the internet.
I do not own anything used in this video.

Everybody should know his story. It lets you see so much more in both the movie and stage production of "Rent".
Look up some of his other works, as well!

Thank you, Jonathan Larson.

  • I was only four years old when he died. i had never heard of jonathon larson. When I turned twelve, I was introduced to rent. i am 19. I beleive this is the greatest musical ever.

  • ...Thank you, Jonathan Larson.

  • Its so sad what happened to him. He and my uncle were best friends from childhood. My uncle drove him to the hospital, and if the doctor held his chest x-rays up to the white board, they would have caught aneurysm and would of saved him. The doctor just simply thought he was nervous because the play was going on the next day. Really wish he was still here with us, I would have the pleasure of hanging out with him all the time. Its funny my moms last speeding tick was with john in the car LOL.

  • I had the pleasure of seeing it on Broadway. It was fantastic. Thanks for the great video.

  • you say Shakespeare, I say Johnathan Larson.
