Part 1/2. Ryan Moore (pro-master) playing open singles against Shane Darby (expert) in the 2010 Kentucky State Foosball Championship. This is a 4 day warrior foosball tournament in Lexington, Kentucky on January 2010.
It's the Warrior table, a newer American table. It plays very similar to a tornado, however the ball is extremely different (and gives a huge helping hand to the lower ranks), the rods are solid (not hollow like a tornado), and the goal is slightly smaller.
The Warrior tour will be a major force in the US this year with the introduction of their coin-op model (along with the IFP/ITSF and the Fireball tours). Should be a great year for foos in the US!
Ryan Moore took 2nd in Open Singles in the German TecBall World Championships in 09, beat Collignon in the finals of Open Singles at the most recent, multi-table World Cup, and just won the Tornado World Championships a few weeks ago. He's currently ranked third in the world (behind Tony Spredeman, USA, and Collignon, Bel).
Moore plays like this to speed up the tempo of the game and force mistakes; he settles down against tougher opponents, and arguably has the best rollover in the world.
nice
