Actually Amendola is a Spanish last name and also Italian. Came to Italy via the Spaniards when they ruled the world and part of southern Italy. His background is from white spain

With his White Spanish background he would be playing the real football for Real Madrid or Barcelona, the biggest and richest team in Europe and the whole world, instead of silly and overly pad protected USA NFL which is play with hands and a break every 20 secs.
