Ithought this was a parody of SOAD's BYOB....

Unfortunately there has always been a lot of strange ego in my business. Before I went to school for this stuff I apprenticed in a Harley dealership for over a year and continued to learn quite a bit over the next ten years. I like to encourage the understanding and enjoyment of motorcycles to anyone that is interested. I've dedicated a large portion of my life to motorcycles just like most everyone has in their own profession. Without teaching and learning there is just ignorance.

I thought they meant like a REAL BIKE not a motorcycle
Hey there. The springer front end that I used was 2" under but it will completely depend on your fame's dimensions. Usually the fram manufacturer can give you an idea what size you will need depending on the rake.

With the newer O-ring chains you don't have to douse them with chain lube like the old style which means very little mess. That set up doesn't work too bad and most importantly it looks cool.

You know it! It is called a sprotor and is made by Exile Cycles. I have always been a big fan of it because it allows you to get the sprocket and brake on one side leaving the right side of the wheel bare.

how do you decide on the rear tyre size? if I want to have a 125 cubic inch motor, can I use a 225mm rear?

Your tire size is 100% up to you. I have run a super skinny tire on a bike with a 130 inch motor and a 280mm on an 80 cubic inch. It does make sense to throw some extra rubber on the back if you are putting down some serious horse power though but ultimately it comes down to what you want to use your bike for and how you want it to look.
