i work for amtrak, and you shouldnt be down there messing around. you got kicked off because people die at station stops allll the time. its a dangerous place

i saw your comment on this video dont feel bad man I have been chased off so damn many times by those jerks at amtrak police they are too damn paradoid...hell you are luckey you stayed out there as long as you did they hqve busted me there plenty of times

I asked a Amtrak Police officer why there was such a rule, today. She wouldn't tell me. Its so wrong not to be able to watch the trains pass by at the second busiest intercity station in the country.

It's really no wonder why you got kicked out. The platforms at Union Station aren't accessible to the public unless you have a ticket and the train is being boarded. You should try out another station the next time you're in the area. One good station that is rarely railfanned for some unknown reason is New Carrollton. It is a really good station and you can see Amtrak, MARC and the Metro all from that station. It's really neat.
