Trying out various bargain corsets to determine whether it's possible to get a quality corset for less than $50. This is the first of several. Full review can be found on my blog, minestighter.blogspot.com. Obviously only custom, individually made corsets are suitable for tight-lacing, and are the best choice anyway, this is just for fun.
@jillybear326 Yes, I've heard of Timeless Trends, and I know several happy ladies who own a corset from them. My opinion is, if I'm spending $100, I'm going to go fully custom. That way I can decide everything, the fabric, the style, the shape, etc.

I also ordered a corset from them. Green satin halfbust with lace overlay. It is not my favorite corset, but for the money I'd say it is pretty good. My favorite corset makers are Timeless Trends. Their corsets run for $99 each for an underbust, but they have some on clearance.
