I play the FSX on my m11x, you can play it with Ultra-High textures, but it lags abit when you turn on Buildings and vehicles.
-
Does it lag at all?
can it cope with fsx on ultra high setting?

@wookie121297 - Sorry, I have no idea what FSX is? My advice if you really like the m11x is to go with the R3 version (m11xR3). Best Wishes, StevenX

What are the specifications of your M11x? Did yours come with the intel dual core CPU clocked at 1.3Ghz each?

@inamonianim - i dont have the m11x anymore. Since then Ive had the m15x and now the m14x. I will say this.. most of the configurations of the m11x will have a difficult time playing ARMA2. The best idea for compromise is to get the m14x which has the new quad core (8 thread) 2630qm processor. Thanks for watching and good luck!

@stevenxowens792 - Does your m14x run arma 2 decent on low to medium settings? I just received my m14x and am considering purchasing Arma2: OA to run on it. Wasn't sure how well it would do, even though so far it does fine with everything I played on it, it looks like Arma 2 could be more demanding than anything else I've installed. Thanks in advance!

@teamjawbox - you know... I tried Arma 2 OA when I first received the m14x. I need to re-install it now that I have the machine working great to revisit performance benchmarks. Before I was able to hit mid 30s in the benchmark with settings on normal- normal/high. During actual gameplay the numbers will do down a bit. The truth is that for SP this is way above what is needed to play the game. Remember that ARMA is a sim, not a fast pace FPS. Dont buy it if you think it will be an FPS.

@teamjawbox - The game is amazing in my opinion. It's long and the custom missions that are created is the bomb. I wish it had a larger following but the problem is that it's has a heavy learning curve and it takes a relatively powerful machine to play. The m14x will run it on normal but again, you have to change your perception of 60fps and fast pace. It more like 25-35 fps and slow pace. (for the most part).
