SYNOPSIS;
You live in a city where time is frozen and centuries, myths and legends come together. In this city full of paradoxes, terror rules over everything else. But you cannot leave. If you try, you will die - and death is the only way to leave it. Politics against terror, humanity against pure violence. Thomas Hill is the unofficial power, a cruel man with no pity. Serve him, fight against him or just try to live your life and survive the odds of the timeless city.

BACKGROUND;
Adrian (Latin, meaning dark one) lives up to his name by being just that. Middle name, Cassius (Latin meaning vain, empty) being coincidentally accurate, also. Adrian was once a respectful doctor; being highly intelligent he was considered, if not the best, one of the best doctors within the hospital he was situated. Even when working as an M.D, he was never much of a people person. Seeing himself as far more intellectual than anyone else, he grew agitated at the fact that others weren't able to keep up with his level of mental ability. Eventually, his delusions of grandeur caused him to have an immediate disliking to the human species, in general. As no-one could compare to him, mentality wise, his narcissism expanded; he only had love for himself.

Naturally, Adrian didn't hesitate to take on the job role as a Medical Laboratory Scientist when offered. There was nothing that he desired more than to leave his fellow colleagues behind and begin working with something more challenging. The downside to the job was that he was working for the government. He knew the government, of all people, were not to be trusted.

Amidst the terror filled and anarchistic driven society, the government had to create a formula; something to put an end to all of the madness. Adrian began work on 'the Ackerman project'; concocting a formula which would create the perfect soldier. Without his acknowledgement, the government had been using samples of his unfinished formula. They had been using it on human guinea-pigs; many of which died as is expected from the prototypes. When he was informed of the news that they were currently testing the formula on humans, Adrian was infuriated. Adrian was forced down into the testing labs to bear witness to the sight of the first successful breakthrough of his formula. Through the window of the testing lab, he watched with abhorrence as they injected the formula into the unwilling female's body; dose which could have easily killed her.

Adrian felt remorse. Adrian was a man of very few emotions but shame was coursing through his body. He felt remorse not for that test subject; but for himself. He had allowed himself to work for the government knowing full well that in these hard times, there was no reason as to why anyone should have to help others. It was every man for themselves. They had tricked him and gone behind his back; he realised he had failed himself and it sickened him. There was a crack in his mental perfection that had allowed him to tend to the government's whim.


To Adrian's vicarious pleasure, the formula had erred and backfired. The test subject had awoken abruptly and he somewhat pitied the experimenters within the same room, understanding exactly how the formula worked and what to expect in reaction.

Adrian left the scene before the subject escaped the testing lab, lest he face her wrath. He never returned to that medical facility. Now he sees that there is no help for the world. He cares for no one else other than himself. He sits on the fence and waits for the dog-eat-dog world to spiral into a wasteland and kill off all but the strongest. Thomas Hill will do this city a favour and destroy it fast.
