  • First off... YUP. second, your right we win, we always win because our fallback for when we start to lose the aurgument (which we don't) isn't "it's true because the bible says" its "it's true because it's true... look right there, proof, gravity, dinosaurs, and my personal favorite neeanderthals (not sure how to spell that) because that in itself is proof we came from monkeys and million of years of evolution not some mystical beings sheer will over night. Thank the lack of a god for museums.

  • in either case there is prier concept and thats just one example, next topic please

  • Your really smart and actually its Sumerian that is the oldest. Take a look into the Epic of Gilgamesh youll see what I mean. There is far more to the story then most people realize.

  • Well done AtheisticTeenager… As far as I can tell Hinduism is both the oldest religion still adhere to to-date, and possibly the oldest religion altogether, next to the Egyptians of course. ;O) So by this ThickShades persons logic those gods are the real gods and the 16 gods mentioned in the book of fairy tales known as the bible are merely unoriginal fake copies.

    Katalyzt

  • you say, and I quote via copy and paste "@AnotherAthiest2149 1. men can make something out of nothing."

So which is it? can we or can we not create something without prior concept? you need to stick to one aurgument when aurguing, this is why you can never get anywhere with zealots, the second they are cornered they cheat, and thats allit is

  • hold on one fucking second you just completely did a 180 on your aurgument. Your aurgument specifically relyed upon the fact that man cannot make something out of nothing, and when I called you out on that and said that there was prior concept to the bible using peganism either A proving peganism is the true religion (according to your logic) or B christianity might not be true because there are things that predate it, anyway your very first sentince in your very first comment responding to me

  • @AtheisticTeenager in that case then you should do comparative studies as many have done. let me know if you have any question or apply for the discussion/debate watch?v=Kvl-gpTbcLw

  • @ThickShades0 ok, well your previous comment confused me.

But I understand now so back to the point

You said the time of paganism vs Christianity which AnotherAtheist2149 pointed out, is irrelevant. Well I can only stress that the timing of these events is ONLY irrelevant if your God does in fact exist, which we do not believe he does so time is in fact relevant to the discussion in our opinion. However, this is even more applicable to the bible, which is the center of the current discussion.

  • @AtheisticTeenager puhahaha.. of course i know. btw, it's like that magic sand"witch." ;) of course, they both don't even have their own bibles. ;)

  • @ThickShades0 I have a quick question, you said the spaghetti monster can be replaced with paganism and I see you mention him often... Do you actually believe that atheists believe in the flying spaghetti monster as an actually real thing? Because thats what it sounds like and that would be completely absurd.

The FSM is simply a metaphor a cartoon presented that shows how the idea of God can be equated to something silly and ridiculous with relative ease.

  • @ThickShades0 can should be can't

  • @AnotherAthiest2149 1. men can make something out of nothing.

    2. your hypothesis could be one of them, but then again the spaghetti monster can be replaced with the concept of pagan. the time is irrelevance as i've explained. btw, i've made something and you are mentioned. watch?v=EUfcFkhnfbM also, you may apply for a debate. watch?v=Kvl-gpTbcLw
