@streetwarrior31 because, very few people realize bin Laden declared war on the U.S. twice. Once in 1996 and once in 1998, and you can read his list of grievances that he had towards the United States on the internet. He wanted the United States out of the Middle East, primarily out of Saudi Arabia because it was the holy country. Let's not forget it was Osama who was willing to defend Saudi Arabia from Saddam, he asked them to not call on the U.S. for help because they would not leave.

I'll tell you why the bin Laden family got this special treatment, because their flesh and blood blew up the damn WTC! If anyone found out that some of bin Laden's family were in the U.S., they'd kill them.
