Priest drowns baby at baptism

A priest in Moldova is being questioned by police after the six-week-old baby he was baptising drowned.

Witnesses have told police that the priest, Father Valentin didn't cover the baby's mouth or take any other precautions when he submerged the infant fully underwater three times to baptise it.

The baby was clearly distressed and was having trouble breathing, it began bleeding from the nose and mouth and turned blue. The child was taken to hospital but died on the way there, doctors found water in the baby's lungs and confirmed it had died from drowning.

The priest is now under investigation by Moldovian police and could face three years in prison of found guilty of causing the child's death.

I'm catholic, been baptized, had first communion, havent done confirmation yet, but i havent been going to church in a long time also so I would LIKE To be Atheist! I want to know where this happened so I go NOWHERE NEAR THIS CHURCH!! That is just so ignorant and lifeless! Drown a baby while being baptized, that should be the ultimate sin!
