spaceboyted123 - I agree it's a sector where an investor needs to know what they are doing. The difference between success and failure is paper thin and some of the valuation techniques used are questionable to say the least!
Hi Tim, is it possible that some technology stocks have a higher price/sales ratio because these companies have a higher potential in their future growth over your more established companies such as Google? In other words, is the high price factoring in the future growth of the stock's potential to become the next Facebook of tomorrow?
I prefer to avoid technology stocks because of the few assets they hold and the threat of the technology becoming obsolete before profits can become realized.
