I have been drinking kefir for over a year now. I had seen it in the supermarket and knew that it was good for you. Perfect for bombarding the system with good bacteria (for good intestinal flora) needed for digestion and can rid you of candida overgrowth which is being blamed for more and more ailments today. There are many other conditions in which kefir is cited as a fixer or cure. Look it up. Enjoy

  • Good job explaining things. That looks as thick and yummy as any commercial smoothie I've had. I'll try it soon. Sometimes, if my day is rushed and I don't have time to add whole fruit, I'll mix equal parts 1 cup kefir, and 1 cup Silk Coconut Milk (fortified with many nice vitamins and minerals), and a stevia packet for a quick daily dose of kefir. It's not nice and thick like yours, but it's still yummy with a "tang". I can drink it quickly so I can still get my good bacteria.Take care :)

  • @CSWRB You know what. I have just added a pack of truvia to it once and drank it as a plain yogurt drink. Not bad. Yeah. I use it as my post workout drink to make the ratio 4:1 Carb:Protein. I just add banana and stevia drops.

  • @lilchez1 Yum, fruit and kefir rocks! We are so blessed to have such things to nourish us. A big "Thank you!"to you and all others on YouTube who are spreading the word.Stevia comes in drops? Cool! I need to find some of that. I've only tried the Stevia powder. :)

  • @CSWRB Yes. Stevia extract.

  • Can you tell me what benefits you have seen using/drinking the kefir for a year now. Have you lost weight? One lady said it help her lose her belly fat, weight, and no more digestive problems or candida, how has it helped you?

  • @mygodisable2 I lost weight but I doubt it had anything to do with drinking kefir. I started a natural fight against cellulite and lost about 10lbs so I'm now 116. I don't drink it as consistently as I should so I don't know if it did anything but maybe help to recolonize my colon with good bacteria. No real digestion problems when I'm drinking it. I want to try the water kefir though. I don't know if it helped with candida but if it did I still need more help.
