Good info, I'm upgrading from the original 1D to the Mark III soon. The MarkIV should be announced tomorrow which will drop the prices.

Scott, what are your thoughts on the Mark III? I've been using one for awhile now, with all the fixes and the AF firmware update, and have never had an issue with it. I notice a lot of Canon shooters avoiding it like the plague.

Granted, the Mk3 has had some obvious issues, but those I know who have one like it. I wouldn't be against getting one, but the prices need to drop a little more before I take that plunge. The Mk2 and Mk2n are still great bodies, IMO, and can be found at great prices.
