Billy Orman - 8th grade - 2007 Arizona Junior High State Meet 1600 meters

Vintage video of Billy Orman running the 1600 at the Arizona Junior High School State Track Meet at Chandler High School at the end of 8th grade. Billy won the race with a time of 4:54.4, his first time breaking 5 minutes in the 1600. His splits were a rather uneven 68.1, 78.8, 77.1, and 70.4! Billy was running in the uniform of the Tuba City Junior High School Braves.

Billy went on to set Arizona state records in the both the 1600 and 3200 at the end of his senior year at Tuba City High School, with a 1600 pr of 4:05.29. He will be attending and running for Harvard beginning fall, 2011.
