Awesome detail in video.. Iv just been training with a 6'5 muscle bound beast, where i had virtually given up using arm locks against him as previously he would simply power out. Finally i was able to pin his arm to the mat & get the tap!! Thanks guys keep up the good work

Wow that was EXTREMELY informative, especially the bit about "revving the motorcycle". We work on this joint lock in Judo as well but we were never taught that motion. Which might explain why it was very difficult to make some guys tap.
One question: I don't know if it makes sense for the person on the bottom to gable grip, but say if he does gable grip, is there an effective way for breaking his grip and then getting in position for this lock?
