On Saturday, October 2 Bay Chamber Concerts presents Emmy award-winning JUMP RHYTHM Jazz Project: a stunning mix of dancing and singing that explodes with rhythmic vitality that ranges from the beat-driven sounds of swinging jazz to the cutting-edge of contemporary funk! JUMP RHYTHM Jazz Project will perform on Saturday, October 2 at the Strom Auditorium, Camden Hills Regional High School, at 7:00p.m.
JUMP RHYTHM Jazz Project's critically acclaimed Artistic Director, Billy Siegenfeld merges Gene Kelly's silken moves with high-energy tap through his ground-breaking approach to body alignment called "standing down straight" credited by Dancer magazine as "the first genuine jazz technique in forty years." JUMP RHYTHM Jazz Project's innovative system of vocal-rhythmic dance transforms the moving body, accompanied by scat-singing, into a rhythm-accurate, emotion-charged percussion instrument.
Most tickets are just $25 or $8 for youth ages 18 and under! Prime seating is $45. For tickets and information call Bay Chamber Concerts at 236-2823 or click here. To learn more about JUMP RHYTHM Jazz Project visit www.jrjp.org.
