@zakista101 Depends mate. I'm currently in the application process for the RMC and I thought long and very hard about what I will have to face assuming I get to Recruit Training. It will be, no understatement, extremely hard, physically and mentally but when/if I pass out I will be part of one of the proudest and best trained outfits on Earth. A mate of mine in the Army explained to me that "Being in the infantry is a job, but being a commando is a lifestyle". Do lots of research and good luck.

32 weeks of pure fizz and hell now correct me if im wrong but anyone that does that is a person that is hoofin all my respects go out to those boot necks in afghanistan and at home doing what they do best. ROYAL MARINES COMMANDOE'S are amazing

I was on that boat

is correct the USMC is a far larger force then the royal marines which is only a light infantry commando supplimented by army attachments. They are not comparable because they differ on many things. A regular USMC marine is not of the same stand as a royal marine commando. However once he moves through the USMC maybe into seals or 1st recon he will become comparable at some point.
