with my IR webcam, when i point it at the screen on my laptop, all i see is a light-ish grey, same on my tv aswell. And for better results, point the webcam so its looking outside, if you havnt done so already or at a tree rich landscape, it all looks so surreal xD !!!!

Why didn't you finish it? Removing the IR blocking filter isn't enough, you need to replace it with an IR passive filter for it to see only IR.
Right now, your camera is getting IR and regular light which ruins the effect.

I didnt have any film to place inside. Ive got it now but its pointless since its just a waist of time really.
