What these people don't get is that just about all, or at least the countries in Europe, that have signed onto the Protocol are WAYY behind in the goals. Only 2 or 3 of the European states are even close to reducing emissions enough. But of course!! Don't you morons see futile this is? You can't seriously reduce emissions without a serious reduction in capitalism and lifestyle, and if you even think of telling the 3rd-world nations to adopt this crap, you're fucking them over.

Even the IPCC says that warming will only cause somewhere between 3 and 24 inches of flooding in the near future. It's really only gonna affect those nations who live either below sea level or near it. We should encourage them to resettle and tell them ways to fight warming themselves and industrialize efficiently. Warming's not gonna fuck developed nations over anytime soon. We're fine.

You guys and your stupid legislators or leaders in so many Western nations set these false goals of "80% by 2050" without ASKING HOW YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO GET THERE!! Industry can't possibly reduce emissions 80% in just 40 or so years. And even if they could, it wouldn't be desirable or cheap. You think GOV'T can afford it or even knows any better how to do it?

The people who set these absurd benchmarks are usually not scientists or economists. They just set whatever sounds good.

The planet's only increased temperature in the last century or 2 by about 1 or 2 degrees, if even that. And it won't warm much more later. Not that you environmentalist wackos would know anything beyond what radical alternative media outlets like Free Speech TV or Link Tv say.

Cutting emissions is a pipe dream. To even cut emissions close to 50% or more would require serious reductions in the quality of life and industry in developed nations. It's just not gonna happen.

What these protestors are really saying is "fuck up the economy." Kyoto Protocol?? Seriously? Do you idiots know NOTHING about economics? It'll hurt a lot of business and jobs, probably a lot more so in than in the U.S.
