@garretts91 why are you talking about racing a single cam lol....to the other guy, no...there's nothing wrong with vtec, you just need to watch your oil more closely than a nonvtec motor and not drive like an ass when it's low(a.k.a. Crack vtec)..dunno why you're messing with single cam v tho lol

@l091805772 i had a d16y7 that took y8's all day. Just an intake, exhaust, y8 intake mani any tranny. The vtec motor is designed for vtec and its just an simple pressure solenoid oil system that runs it. I don't think it does any harm that non vtec wouldn't.

@ridesoul69 i gota 89 hf trans and engine. (d15b6). so if i did head vtec conversion and chipped n tuned i can rev that hi even on this motor?
