@n2112bytor2112p If you're talking about the white patch on the bass drum, it's kind of a two in one job to dampen the sound a little bit and protect the bass drum head from hard beater heads.

Go to your drum sets and just try that boom chick chick boom chick chick beat and then try to add something to it , then try to get as colorful as he gets , it is downright difficult , practically impossible for many . . . this guy is a BEAST !
