Inside a FEMA trailer during rain

This is what I have to put up with in our FEMA trailer in New Orleans, La every time it rains. We have called FEMA numerous times about it and they came out and said it's been fixed, but as you can see, it has not. Not only does the rain come in through the door, but it comes in through the light fixture right over my bed and rains on the bed. If it rains in the middle of the night, I get woken up by the rain dripping on my face and body. At this time the bed is soaked as you can see, so I really don't have any place to sleep for the night and it is supposed to rain for a few more hours. And as you can imagine, the rain water and light fixtures DON'T mix, so I have to stay awake to make sure the FEMA trailer doesn't catch fire.

So what!! Get off your butt and put the towels down. Don't you think in a severe

thunderstorm watch that you're not the only one to have to take care of your

leaks just like other people in their homes. Oh my, you too have to put a

bowl or bucket for the leaks. I'm sure FEAM is going to rush right over for

your problems. FEMA, dear is made of people just like yourself.

@PaPillionkatherine First of all, have you LIVED in a FEMA trailer full of toxic fumes that has caused my husband so many breathing difficulties, he's now on medication because of it? I do have a home, FYI and we have been living in our renovated home for the past 3 years, so look at the damn date before you go slandering people. As for the leaks, they happened EVERY time it rained, day or night. How would YOU like it if you had to sleep on a wet bed because the roof leaked?

If you knew anything ABOUT me, you would know that the FEMA trailer was on the front lawn on our HOUSE, and we got NOT ONE DAMN PENNY from the government, we paid to have our whole house renovated with our OWN money. What did you hope to accomplish by putting this video on youtube? Be thankful that you had the federal govt help you. It probably took more time making this video than it would have taken to get on the roof with some silicon and fox the problem.I think the reason why people have left such negative comments is because of your "this is what I have to deal with" attitude. It seems that you EXPECT fema to come out there and fix it. , and this sort of mentality is what makes people angry.

Why do people assume the government is taking care of someone if they stay in a FEMA trailer? You guys do know you can purchase these, right? I drive by a huge lot full of them every time I go shop groceries. If a person buys them, stands to reason they can live in it. What a bunch of lames. smh
