I'm excited that apple is pushing new technology (thunderbolt/lightpeak). The first iterations is never really all that good, but i'm still glad that they're doing it.

@ACMiLan1113 I have the same machine I since mine works perfectly (of course) the new specs arent good enough that I am gonna change it. So I am gonna wait for the next upgrading!! I mean, as Dave said, I feel too disappointed there is no major change in this recent upgrade.

Surprisingly, the 2011 15" & 13" macbook pros have lower pcmark scores than that of the 13" sony vaio z. In the test, the $2199 5.6lb. 15" mbp was using an i7-2720QM (2nd gen) while the $2099 3lb. sony vaio z was using the i5-520M (1st gen). Rest of the specs were about the same, however, the 15" mbp got a 7,648 while the sony vaio got a 9,936. The 4.5lb 13" mbp got a 5,534. btw, these are pcmarks vantage benchmark #s according to laptopmag(dot)com. The sony vaio z came out a year ago too...
