Inept Reviews: Los Angeles Swat (ZX Spectrum)

Stumbling home at 4.30am in the morning after a Friday night of heavy drinking down The Fountain public house, I decide for some reason I can't quite fathom, to review some more games and try and burn the house down at the same time.

This is LA Swat for the Speccy, a game my mate used to like. You'll discover about 5 seconds in what I think of the game.

I apologise the excessive use of swearing in the video - worse so than normal. I can't actually remember really doing the review either - it just appeared on my computer the next day. I'm even more surprised I managed to get past level one.

Anyway here is the terrible review. I had a couple more reviews to do but something went wrong and they didn't record or something.

I remember buying this on the Amstrad from Tescos as a kid and it used to fucking crash on that beginning bit where the screen scrolled down.

But they were good,  I bought a Spectrum from a car boot sale a few years after getting my amstrad, so they were good for that, even though they didn't work half the time.

I had this for C64 on a flippy disk with Panther on the other side. LA SWAT is a cheesy game but vaguely amusing in it's own trashy way. The C64 version is far superior to this. The way your dudes get beaten to death is hilarious.
