  • for those who missed the point, what he is saying that given enough time, the forces of nature change things...thats all. it is a great analogy for how, given enough time, things in nature change.

  • Don't be silly Shermer. Those are all just similar looking rocks. Have you ever actually seen fresh magma turn into sand? No? Then how can you say that erosion is responsible?

Nah, I'm only fooling about. :)

  • I hope you bought that sand!

  • @2CSST2 I agree completely. We need less superstition and more scientific understanding.

  • And this suppose to prove evolution. Well, you failed to impress me.

  • @2CSST2 we're trying, dear me are we trying

  • I don't hate the US I just find it sad for them. They started so well, but just blew it all off. They wasted way too much of their economy on military power, and dramatically droped the intelligence of its population with a poor education system, and giving too much power to religious dogmas as creationists. They had alot of potential, but lately they've done really bad with what they had. It's not too late to shift the budget into scientific research and progress.

  • The evolution of mammals only occurs with heterosexual relationships.

    This is a scientific fact.

Religious faggots hate the facts of evolution.

  • skeptic |ˈskeptik| ( Brit. sceptic)

    noun

1 a person inclined to question or doubt all accepted opinions.

One thing Michael Shermer is not, is a skeptic. he's a pleb.

  • I really enjoy your videos and I subscribe to your magazine. I agree with your points completely, but I think this video is a bit weaker than your usual because I think the analogy you've employed is not relevant. I can see your point, but I think that erosion, as a destructive process, is not equatable to evolution, as a process of growing in beneficial traits. I mean no offense, of course, and I succeed that you're much more qualified than I.

  • @censurabass Yeah ur right, but im guessing the origin of species is a bit too old?

  • @TheK1ngdom Yeah, thats really helpful thanks... Though, maybe you should think about citing fiction from a slightly later date? Something by Tom Clancy, maybe? Come on, The sum of all fears was cool!
