@coolharsh111 No I mean you plug the receiver on the computer, right? Oh what I did not know is how many devices were there? A mouse and a wireless receiver? If so, I just made a mistake that I thought the are the same white box. Thank you if I understood it correctly.

@MrMetoosun I'm not sure what you mean, this used wireless transmission so didn't need a "wired" connection to the laptop

@Aleedogar This is a very old project.. so many better ones have come out since then.. check out the Sparkfun Kinetamap for more details.

hey.. i did this when I was in my final year in IIT Madras, Chennai, India. The wireless module is a CYWMUSB6935 from Cypress. You should check out their website, since I've done this all companies have updated their parts to much smaller, sleeker, more powerful devices. :)
