Battle of the Monster Tanks

Are you guys seriously arguing ever wether or not these are tanks? All these "Monster Tanks" were once tanks and armored personnel carriers that were decommisioned after WW2, Vietnam, Korea, and so forth. These guys bought the tanks and stripped them down, gave em a huge tune up, and heavily modified them. If you look closely, youll realize that these monster tanks just have a fiberglass skin over a turretless tank body.

good ole stuff from back when people still had to be creative! And had balls!

Monster tanks FTW...They were so bad ass... My uncle had one that he converted from an old personnel carrier... he called it Knuckle buster..cause he busted his knuckles more times than he could count building it...

I do too... I was born in 72 and a teenager in the 80's...Man what a GREAT time...Things were so much simpler back then... Arcades were the cool place to hang out...Roller Rinks... Yeah... I miss those times... Metal bands like AC/DC, White Snake, Metallica, Skid Row... God I could go on and on and on

I miss the 80s

I think Motorstorm should look toward some of the more extreme motorsports of the world for their next game.

This things are awesome I would rather watch these than monster trucks

That is one "obnoxious" video. =p

I really miss these.Sad that even after all these years I can still instantly recognize Bigfoot Fasttrax without even having to see the name on the side.

@Eirik36 That was on the "Blood, Sweat & Gears" video, produced by USHRA & SRO/Pace Promotions in 1987. The tug-of-war was between wrestler "Sgt. Slaughter" (and his "battling battalion"), and Bigfoot (driven by Jim Kramer), at a 1987 USHRA Truck & Tractor Pull event in Phoenix, AZ (I think).

I want to know more about the Locomotive featured in this video. Does it have a name? Is there any more info or video about it?

@xnehbx The Locomotive-bodied vehicle was called "Orange Blossom Special Express," and was owned by Allen Gaines. Two other events featuring that vehicle, which I think have been uploaded by other users, are the 1989 Anaheim USHRA event, the 1989 Pontiac USHRA event,
