I've watched this film so many times but this was the first time I noticed, Dorothy's comment to Henry ("Having heard so much about you, I expected you to be much older") is exactly the same as Lorelei's first words to Piggy... so subtle and funny!

3:00-9:00- many wonderful scenes from ONE film: (1) Marilyn and Jane don't walk, they STRUT into that dining room, all kinds of hot and gorgeous!! (2) Meeting Mr. Henry Spofford III ("old enough to appreciate a good-looking girl when I see one"), and (3) the dialogue between sassy Dorothy ("no one talks about Lorelai but me") and detective Malone ("you don't mind if I like you better, do you?") And, of course, wardrobe: Marilyn's orange gown, and Jane's spanish-style black lace at 8:03. Woof!!
