KITV NEWS 4 HAWAII MONTAGE - 1992

This is KITV's news broadcast from December, 1992. Paula Akana, and the unforgettable Robert Kekaula on sports are still on KITV to this day. Dan Cooke left Island TV4 in 1994 (joining KHNL), rejoined in 1999, and then left for good around 2007. KITV is owned now by Hearst Broadcasting. It has always been #3 or tied for #2 with KGMB. Also, a few local commercials from Foodland and an amusing Dan Cooker blooper.

KITV's 4 logo almost looked like KRON's 1984-1988 logo although the 4 in KRON's 4 was broken off in the top and bottom. I think when Hearst-Argyle purchased it in 1996-1997, they made the changes in the 4 logo.
