What you see, and hear, four times in this video -- a golf ball being struck by the center of the center of the sweet spot of the club face -- is something I achieve maybe once in 50 strokes (because sooner or later, even a 24 handicapper like me is going to do it by accident). The thrill of doing so is enough to make me go through the next 49 bad shots in pursuit of experiencing that feeling again.

what Tom Watson said in the post match interview was as big as his play on the course. I felt like i was seeing the greatest sportsman of all time. In defeat and dissapointment the mans true characture was revield. the putting stroke on the 18th didn't even look like the one he used for the other 71 holes and it was as if he was not meant to win by some higher power.. i know that sounds crazy but it just fell apart in a most peculiar way. I am a huge Tom Watson fan.

@pat52007 I agree with you on that. I also liked how he came in 8th the other day in Dubai on the European Tour and showed all the young guys how it is done. Something great about seeing a legend still able to compete with the best in the world.
