This is really cool because if you can see, the MBTA employee at the front of the train gets off and then the train drives itself to the end of the platform!
The (T) does not have any automatic operating trains. The operator let an inspector (white shirt) out near the inspector's booth then continued to drive to the end of the platform for regular scheduled service. The closest thing the (T) has to Automatic Train Operation is the Red/Orange Line's CBTC (Computer Based Train Control), i.e. Cab Speed Codes, without signals. The CBTC operation still requires an operator and a door operator, on a six car train, located between the 4th and 5th car.SeeYa

I think there was another person in the cab driving, I've seen two employees ride up front at once before and the blue line is not automated
