    it's sad that she became prey to such nasty public scrutiny. Gossip is a terribly mean-spirited and senseless thing, and so avoidable.

  • Brilliant. I only wish she would write a biography, and I'd really love it if Barbara Walters would look up some of the stars like this who are still alive and get them to talk one last time. She could teach a thing or two to the starlets of today.
