In this episode of "One Day", sisters Nastia and Anya Turovinina are reunited after over a decade apart. Both girls were abandoned by their birthmother in 1995, then separated when Nastia was severely injured and sent to hospital, and later a special care orphanage. Anya and Nastia were reunited thanks to Mary Kirkpatrick, Alex Chizenok and Russian Family Search. Alex's friend, Kyrill Nabotov, a well known TV personality, documented their reunion for his tv show "Adin Dyen."

  • Also, to stopbeingnasty, I have tried to find someone to add English translation to the video, but no luck. The rights to the video belong to NTV.

  • Sadly, no, Emmagrace. We have worked tirelessly to make it happen, but current US immigration laws are too strict. THere is no way to get her here, we have tried every avenue. my daughter and I went and lived with Anya for 3 months last year. This past summer Anya was shot and she has only just been released from the hospital. She lost the use of her foot as her ankle was shot out. she cannot walk and we are now trying to get her here on a medical visa.

  • I wish it were available in English, too, but its not.I posted it because its about my daughter and so that her friends back in Russia can watch it:)
