Yeah, that's pretty much fantastic. It has a really authentic "late '80s gritty urban police drama/buddy action flick" vibe. You get the impression that each episode is going to contain an interrogation scene (after which the Chief pulls Axe Cop aside and says, "Dammit, Smartist, you can't hit a suspect! You're a loose cannon!"), a car chase scene, and a shootout at the docks/lumber mill/abandoned warehouse.
