Oakland Plantation is an established subdivisions in Sumter, South Carolina. Located off of Highway 441 very close to Shaw AFB. This neighborhood is a great place for airmen from Shaw to buy a home.

I lived on Long view 1975-1979

We lived in three homes there: Oakcrest, Brookgreen and then 2378 Mt Vernon. I absolutely loved that neighborhood and spent my entire youth growing up there. I sort of miss that place!!
