What I love the most about these George Geef (Goofy's full name) cartoons is that they made the perfect everyday guy out of him. As George Geef, Goofy is married, a father, works a busy job and indulges in sports. But although successful, he isn't a winner, he's a coper, somebody who copes with situations as they present themselves to him.
He's a more recognizable average Joe than for example Donald Duck
