Eternity's Child is a 2008 2D, side-scrolling platformer for the PC. It features large, crisp 2D sprites, some unique gameplay concepts and a fitting soundtrack. However, the game feels a little slippery, and with the odd physics and imprecise platform detection, it often feels like a glorified Flash game. Regardless, it's only $5 in the Steam store and any fan of old-school platformers should at least be able to get enough play time out of it.
This game was apparently announced for the Wii as well a few years back, but to my understanding it has either been cancelled, or is still sitting in limbo (This is too bad, because I think playing it with the Wiimote and Nunchuck would be cool).
Just looking at the characters and how they are moving makes me want to scream at my PC screen out of anger.
