Shiba Inu Sachi - Sneezing

Shiba Inu Sachi is sneezing. She has seasonal allergies: she seems to be allergic to some plants that come out in August. She has a runny nose, watery eyes, itchy skin.., just like human beings who suffer from allergies. For about a month she has such symptoms, and because she scratches and chews on herself, it takes another month or two for her fur to grow back. She looks miserable for two months or so every year.

My Shiba girl, Suki, also has allergies :( She gets an even bigger fuss made out of her then.

So many Shiba Inus seem to have some sort of allergies. What is your Suki allergic to?

This is true. I haven't had her tested yet but I think it's related to pollen, grasses, etc. It starts to crop up around June and lasts until October/November. The vet recommended regular allergy pills for people and for the most part the help.
