Thank you for your reply and I understand your concern and reasoning but I can't agree.
Each of us are only here for a short time on Earth
so I won't spend the time arguing
but wish you well in the pursuit of the truth which will set you free.

@FlaviusSarcasticus , Just to play the other side here, if we have to look at it as you say in light of other scriptures that say some will be lost, why don't we have to look at those scriptures in the light that says all will be saved? Maybe we are misinterpreting those scriptures, they both can't be right. Just something to think about. I used to be like you and was so sure of the non believers outcome, as time goes on, I see that I did not now all that I thought I did.

@zratedz Yes this is another scripture that some use to say all are saved, but this still has to be looked at in the lite of all the scriptures that speak of those who will be lost.

@FlaviusSarcasticus As you said, "this could also be saying" so there is no real certainty there. Lets take a look at another verse.. Romans 5:18,19. 18Consequently, just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all men, so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men. 19For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.
You're missing the point.
Hugging the letter, missing The Spirit.
What are the two commandments by the way ?

@FacetonoFace Actually your missing the point. Lots of people say they finally understand God better because of The Shack. But the book has the 3 people telling things to Mac that are not true Bible teachings. If I wrote a book about math & said that 2+2 = 5 & 12 + 2 = 122 & people said they finally understand addition. Then I would be teaching them false info & that info would hurt them more then help & cause much trouble if they believed what I was teaching when they balance their check book.

this video is dumb. the point is that a relationship creates the desire to ask for forgiveness. this guy's sarcasm is also dumb.

@daschwarm True but the book says we don't need a relationship. If we fdon't have a relationship with Christ we are not Christian.

Todd Friel is absolutely on target again. Any Christian who could possibly read this book and not see the blatant heresy isn't using any discernment. What this book does to the Trinity is nothing short of pure evil.
Wise up Christians. Jesus is not your 'papa'.

@SkiesVibrant - Yes you are so right. I see the problem with the church today is too many prople have no discernment of the error in the church today.
