In order to build muscle fast you have to be sure that the right intensity techniques are being used in your workouts. A workout that is not of sufficient intensity will never help you to build the lean muscle you're after since the stimulus is just not strong enough to get the job done.

That said, in this video I'm going to show you how to up the intensity of your workouts (by decreasing the length it takes you to complete them) with three muscle building and muscle growth tactics that I use with my professional athlete clients.

In order to build muscle you have to focus on maximizing the tension on the muscle through both the eccentric and concentric phase of the lift or exercise. Muscle building exercises will help you to build muscle if they place a load on the muscle that it's not already used to. Overload is the key, and by doubling the time the muscle is under tension you are able to increase the muscle growth while decreasing the total time that you need to workout to get results.

    Really dude? I think his physique speaks volumes on his training knowledge. If u weren't supposed to train two big muscle groups on the same day I doubt my jim would be so fuckin jacked. I'm so sick of people runnin there mouth about shit they have no clue about. Lots of big name trainers advocate back and chest on the same day. Ever heard of charles poliquin? Obviously not he has stated that many bench press record have been achieved after heavy bent rows. Google "working opposing

  • this looks really effective and i will probably use it. but my only problem is this... won't you run out of energy or something meaning that when you go back to chest after doing back, you'll probably be able to do like 6 reps instead of 8?
