i remeber this like it was yester day the night it all stated u could just here a crack crack then a crash all night it when on for like a week or to we got lucky cuz we got one of the last genorators in town at grizzlies me and my brother were going around town wit a chainsaw helping ppl we cut some massive trees down at the time i went to pipkin jr highi will alwayz remember this thnx man

I can't believe it's been more than four years now. Springfield looks unrecognizable in this video; almost hard to believe it went back to normal so quickly. This video really refreshed my memory... I forgot how bad it was. It's crazy how time flies.

That's Markwood Apartments. haha I lived there att. got an extra week off for Christmas break at MSU, but that week sucked. no power, the apartment felt like a cave. there are two buildings in the complex, and the other had power because a tree didn't fall on their generator.

I remember this, we had one generator and we used it for the little electric heaters XD all of our fridge and frozen items we set outside on our porch as it was cold enough, at night my whole family would sleep on air mattresses together to keep war XD I remember in school, there was only one hall with electricity and we watched a movie aah the memories :)

one of the things I noticed the most with the ice storm was that it was quiet except for the trees busting and stuff. I think it was mostly because people weren't driving around that much.
