American idol, X-Factor, The Voice they all have accepted ones that have had prior deals or careers. I think its great competition for ones who are true amatuers. I would be privilaged to know I made it along with seasoned veterans! Just raises the bar that much more. If you do make it to the top youre going to be singing along w the best anyways, why not start at the begining and just get better with time?!

@TheOriginalBleachX and why is that, other contestants have done professional work. He clearly did not mislead anyone, these days anyone can put out a CD but that does not mean you have finally reached you success height.

I think he should be banned from The Voice. He clearly mislead everyone into thinking he was just some average guy simply trying to make a living singing to make a "new start" after his story of living in a car with his daughter sleeping on his chest. Low and behold he's a seasoned professional. Sign the petition to banish him from The Voice.
