This is a fairly typical London Underground (Tube) station in March of 2011. We got off the train and made our way to the exit. Every tube station has a different visual theme. This one had tile mosaics. Other ones have old posters in wood-cut style. Others are ultra-modern. Escalators are everywhere - only Hong Kong seems to have longer ones. Every so often you would hear an announcement that there is (dreaded) Engineering Work somewhere in the system. But sometimes they just announce that there is "good service" throughout the London Underground system.

  • Thursday 10th November, at about 4.30pm....I mistakenly pushed in front of you in the queue at the ticket counter and apologised...you had a lovely smile...I tried to catch up with you, but you must have gone the other way....If by any chance you are reading this, message me!

  • I met a lovely young lady at Tottenham Court Rd station on Thursday....I let her walk away, dammit.
