Mr. Jacobs was my father's (Ed James) writing partner for many years, writing pilots for shows such as "Addams Family" and "F-Troop" (to name a few). I remember them working together in the beautiful basement office of our home in BRENTWOOD (not Encino) & how kind he was to this little girl who would come down & bother them. I still have one of the pencils that Mr. Jacobs gave me, stenciled with my name on them, making me feel SO important. I'm 54 now, but he will ALWAYS be "Mr. Jacobs" to me.
