I know it sounds harsh, but this is what they do. I didn't want to believe it. Just google "cosmetic animal testing". Lancome is not the only one. Anything that comes from China, for example, is tested on animals. Many companies here have switched to skin cell cultures.

Here is an example of animal testing: "For example, in the LD50 test, subjects are forced to ingest poisonous substances (through stomach tubes, vapor spray inhalers or injection) until half of them die. Common reactions to LD tests include convulsions, vomiting, paralysis and bleeding from the eyes, nose, mouth or rectum." Do you really want to support Lancome?
