are you serious? dalai lama is different from the pope. dalai lama cool with stuff. he's not some holy being, just a wise man. to say "What a Jerk! Does he even know who I am?" requires ego which is against the ways of the dalai lama.

Disclaimer: Fist bumps are OK, but ONLY IN THE RIGHT CONTEXT. OK, this does not look as bad as the Associated Press snippet sounded in print, but seriously: would you fist bump the pope? I bet the Dalai Lama leaned over to his entourage after the encounter and was like, "What a Jerk! Does he even know who I am?" At least he was shaking his hand BEFORE the bump. But still...[shaking my head] I'm a bit embarrassed for Memphis & Tennessee as a whole.
